true story...

Just some thoughts...

First of all I did a push up! Seriously, the first one ive ever really done in my life. Not a girl push up either with my knees down and all of that, a full fledged push-up and it was awesome. Now, according to mike-- i have muscles.

Second of all, i've been looking into taking a couple of online classes through Michigan State so i can get my 6 credits over with and have them mail me my diploma. I've been mostly looking into taking some retailing classes so i can learn about the "retail math" i've read so much about in job descriptions. But first of all apparantly they don't offer any online. Not one. Infact that whole college has about 3 classes i can take online, and pretty much the only one with out a prereq is a intro to design class. Which is cool, i'm interested, but it just seems so generic. My other thing is how the hell is retail math anything different then what i did in my business math classes? I know how to forecast, add, subtract, multiply and from working at enterprise i can easily read a per unit analysis.

Also what i've realized is that entry level sucks. I've been looking around and most jobs want 3-5 or 2-3 years experience. (aka your college degree is worthless without experience) Which is understandable...but definitely puts a damper on my plans. I think my best route in to what I want to be doing is to first become a branch manager with enterprise, get so experience with that, and then apply for a job as a store manager or sales manager with a retail or department store. (That could all easily change though with a call from limited brands)

Its not that I hate what i'm doing with enterprise.. i really don't. Yesterday was actually a great day minus the fact that jeff isn't my manager anymore. Basically we stayed busy enough to prevent me from wallowing about my job. I just have to get psyched again. I have fallen into a slump... and instead of doing things to get myself out of it, i've just been taking it. So starting today i'm getting over that.

And just a couple side notes

JennifeR--- i was serious last night.. you are totally moving to maryland so we can have a double wedding.
