Since Andrea reminded me today that I do still in fact have this blog I thought I should update it.
So here is what has been keeping me so busy lately...
1. Mike and I have decided to start looking into buying a house. We are trying to be realistic about it though because we really have only enough saved up for the minimum down payment, and in this area even that can be a little pricey. Most likely if we do end up taking the property plunge we will be investing in a townhome or condo. We've already sat down with a Realtor and are going to take some tours tomorrow. We still have 6 months before our lease is up, but with closing taking anywhere from 30-90 days its not too soon to start looking.
2. I've been looking for other jobs. It seems like the rental car industry has begun to turn around based off of last months final numbers for my groups Operating Profit, however I am getting tired of the grind, and waiting to get promoted. My goal was to have been promoted before the holidays. They have come and gone though and I still find myself in the same spot. I'm not exactly to the point of actively looking, but if I come across a good oppurtunity I have been taking my time to edit my resume and draft a cover letter ( a very time consuming act).
I think those two actually sum it up. With any other free time i've had i've been working out or just finding time to relax. Usually Monday through Friday end up being very busy and exhausting days for me.
When did I get so old?

And naturally, you made a "buy a house" goal in Thrive, right? *grins*
We wanted to say something nice on your fashion blog, but the comments seem to be broken, at least on my Mac with Firefox. How can we give you Thrive love if we can't comment?
Problem solved, I may have had comments restricted to users only.
But thanks so much for reading my blog! It was definitely the last thing I expected when I signed up for a money management site :)
