shaking hands 400 times a day will make anyone a germ-a-phob...

I almost feel like i am back to working at a daycare. Its been less than two weeks and i'm already sick with my first mystery illness. I hadn't been sick almost all winter and now is when i get sick. My throat is so raw, i can't stop coughing, which doesn't really make for great customer service when you are hacking through out the persons contract. But i guess that is bound to happen when you have to shake every customers hand you come in contact with. And yes, i know it sounds like I am exaggerating, but i am most definitely not. Our managers watch us thoroughly in the garage and at the counter to ensure that we are greeting each customer with a smile and a handshake. At the end of the month we get evaluated on it. Along with a slew of other things.

But besides the constant handshaking, exchanging of germs, and periods of pure chaos i have to say i love the airport.

but by the end of four months, i'm going to be a reflection of my mother.. always armed with purell.
