Over the last couple days i've been sick (a fun 2 days off, and one choice time day for me i must say) i've had time to read a book I spotted at Borders last weekend. The book is titled You're So Money by Farnoosh Torabi. Basically the book is a guide to personal finance for a younger generation. Personal Finance has been a topic of interest lately for me and the book was exactly what I was looking for. It covered all kinds of topics including spending money wisely (something i did not do in the past) investing (something i'm starting to do now) and even buying a house and planning a wedding without breaking the bank (something i will probably need to do in the future). It gave a lot of helpful insight and advice very much unlike the condescending tone of most personal finance books.
The author is in her twenty's and recent grad of both penn state and the columbia grad school. So she understands the importantance of combining a healthy fincial life while still having fun.
Basically, my point is it is definitely a worthwhile read.
